The Winter Storm and the News...
This the stuff weather men dream about.  I mean, all year they have a few rain storms, some harsh weather to report in another state, but now they are SO excited. I mean they are like a five year old on Christmas Day.

I love when the other newscasters thank them if we have good weather and the weather person takes the credit for the weather like if it snows on Christmas Give me a break

Why is every storn now a Nor'easter?!?! It's not doing anything out and they have "Storm Watch 2007" banners going.

It's like a competition to see who can broadcast the 1st snowflake of the season
And my DH is just as bad, he NEEDS to see every forecast, switching between channels constantly making me crazy.

I'm at work in Suffolk - what's the deal w/ the weather?? I've heard so many different thing... I thought it was 2-4 inches, then my dad said just a little snow and then all rain, then I looked online and saw 3-6 inches in Nassau....
AH!  and Winter Storm Warning?? And Nor'Easter? So confused!

All schools in NJ were closed early this morning. It's not doing a thing yet here.
They are all closed in Rockland as well. We have a little snow on the ground - it was there when I got up and it hasn't done anything since I've been up.
I decided to work from home since they had said 4-8 inches in my area and a 100% chance of snow

See...that is the one thing I love about NJ. They close in anticipation. In queens, they waited until we were in school and trapped and had to stay after.

Virtually all schools in CT are closed. I heard it already started snowing in the lower part of the state. According tothe forecast, my area is supposed to get between 5 and 10 inches of snow.
