...ICE STORM WARNING IS CANCELLED...
THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN UPTON HAS CANCELLED THE ICE STORM WARNING.
THE FIRST SIGNIFICANT WINTER STORM OF THE SEASON IS COMING TO AN END ACROSS THE FORECAST AREA. WITH THE EXCEPTION OF SCATTERED SNOW SHOWERS THROUGH EARLY THIS EVENING...CONDITIONS WILL DRY OUT ON GUSTY NORTHWEST WINDS. NO ADDITIONAL ACCUMULATION IS EXPECTED.

Channel 7 just said another band of snow is swinging around LI. And another band of snow in PA is heading our way

It does not feel very over to me. I keep hearing branches crack and fall, our lights are flickering and I hear tons of ambulances. I usually don't even hear anything from the main roads. We have a pretty big tree limb down in our yard. It's over part of the deck. DH is going to be so sad if there is damage to the deck that he built but he does not even want me to go check. That's because there is another big piece of the tree that has broken off but has not yet fallen. When the sound effects of this storm stop, then I will say it's over.

The storm is not over its still raining/ snowing out there and than it suppose to turn to all snow, than it will be over by 9- 10 pm tonight.
