Another Spinoff to Home Invasions...What have you done?

i'm going to warn you. this is pretty embarrassing.

in high school i had the 10-3 sched. my mom left before me and i was home alone, blowdrying my hair when i heard a noise downstairs. it sounded like a crash, then the back door opening

so i ran into my room, grabbed scissors, and ran into my mothers, locked the door n called 911. as soon as i hung up the fone, i heard the vacumn cleaner turn on. i was like..why are robbers cleaning???

then i realized it was my mom.

3 police cars got there so fast i was so embarrassed!!!

we have a basement apt. -- so you have to walk down some steps to get to it---well my landlords backyard is essentially all forrest

one nite after DH went to bed i heard scratching at the door---i went and opened the door and the biggest, fattest racoon was staring right at me, ripping thru a garbage bag that my DH left to take to the curb, outside the door.

i promptly screamed , slammed the door and ran into the bedroom and woke him up to take care of it. lol when he opened the door the racoon was still there staring at us like we had interrupted HIS night--my DH shoo'd him away.

I came home to my first apartment to meet DH (then boyfriend) and my roommate was not home yet but our front door was ajar. My cop landlord who lived downstairs was not home either, and DH was not there yet. I peeked in and for some reason high tailed it into the kitchen and grabbed a steakknife. I then proceeded to investigate every nook and crannie of our apt. with the steakknife ready to strike, figuring I'd be a hero when DH arrived and saw that I got the bad guy. Turns out airhead roommate left the door open and luckily no one was inside. Of course looking back I realized I should not have gone in...
