it is so sad.... and i still think those boys know something!!!!!
i can't imagine their pain... i would want to know for sure that she was dead instead of worrying that perhaps she stuck in the sex trade or drug trade somewhere crazy!!!

I've been to aruba 2x since this happened and the consensus on the island that has not been shared with the American public due to our media outlets is that she is still alive but was taken to Venezuela for the sex slave trade....Even if it sounds farfetched, I wish more had been done to explore alternatives.

My sister and BIL live and Aruba and have never heard any of those rumors. Most of her friends on the island think that she was doing something naughty with them and things got out of control and they got rid of her body because they were scared.
Whatever the case, I am glad the case is closed. Maybe everyone can move forward now.

This is horrible. DH and I landed in Aruba the day after she went missing. We had no idea what was going on until we turned the news on. I have to say, while this can happen anywhere, it was a very strange feeling being in the presence of all this and seeing helicopters flying over the beach and also seeing how everything seemed so "normal" with all of this going on almost as if it didn't happen. I
I can't say we won't go back to Aruba, but it won't be first on our list.
