So far I have spent exactly $265

I plan on buying at least 2 more pairs of pants, and a bunch more tops, considering I will be pregnant all winter, and all of the spring in NC, ill also buy a few pairs of capris

Re: cost of maternity clothes
I have not bought that much (but I also don't work so i don't need a ton of clothes)
Originally I bought 2 bella bands
Then I bought: 3 nice pants 2 casual pants 1 sweatpants 3 sweaters 4 casual tops 4 nice tops 5 or 6 tshirts 1 pair of capris 1 dress (everything was on sale too!)
I hope to not be in maternity clothes too long after giving birth, so I won't need to buy new summer clothes!
ETA: I bought 3 bras already and grew more, so that will be my next purchase!
I could use a pair of jeans too!

Re: cost of maternity clothes
I've def. spent at least $500 so far when I think about it. But, I have to dress very professional for work so that includes a good suit.
I inherited some tops, 1 pr Gap jeans, 1 pair Sevens.
For gifts - a dress, a suit, 3 sweaters & a jacket for the fall
I bought - 1 - good suit 4 - business tops 4 - casual comfy tops 1 - pr yoga pants that I sleep in 6 - pr maternity undies 3 - bras 1 - winter jacket 3 - work blazers 5 - work pants
I'm sure there's more. But, now I have to do another shop since a lot of my pants are now uncomfy and tight

Re: cost of maternity clothes
I have spent over 500. I needed a few dresses and some work clothes, underwear, new bras, jeans, pajamas, and a winter coat. It ads up fast. I never spent more than 30 on jeans too.

So far - $60! LOL
I got myself a bella band to extend my current wardrobe...and I needed a new bra.
That said, I'm only 13.5 weeks but I am definitely showing.

Re: cost of maternity clothes
I think I spent about 1k on maternity clothes overall. I needed clothes for summer and winter so there was no way around it. It worked out for me anyway because the stuff I wore in August wouldn't even begin to fit me now because I'm so huge, so I would have had to buy some stuff just to get through my last few weeks if I didn't already buy for the season.
I'm done shopping now, but I did buy a cute red shirt for Christmas yesterday, but only because it was on sale.

Re: cost of maternity clothes
i'm only 16 weeks, and i've already spent about $400...NONE of my shirts fit because my chest grew, so i literally needed all new tops. I only have about 3 maternity pants, but i haven't worn them yet, still squeezing into regular pants (with the bella band now).
I'm sure i still have a lot more shopping to do as i grow. Plus i'm addicted to shopping, so that doesn't help the situation.
Good luck!

Re: cost of maternity clothes
I don't know how much I spent but I shop only at Old Navy, Gap (on sale), H&M, Target, Kohls. I am commited to not spending a lot of money! Also, if you order from Old Navy, they will do a price adjustment if it goes on sale within a certain amt of days (I forget how much). I always find a coupon code for free shipping and then you can return at any ON store so it won't cost you more to shop online.

Re: cost of maternity clothes
I've spent only about 200. I have a co-worker that gave me practically all of her maternity clothes, so that was a big help. I bought: 1 pair of jeans 2 pairs of sweat pants 1 pair of nice black pants 1 dress Tops I have a bunch that were bought from the sale rack at either Jc Penny or Motherhood. I just bought 3 nursing bras too.

Re: cost of maternity clothes
I would estimate somewhere between $200 - $400. I wasn't expecting buying two sets of underwear and new PJs because I grew out of most of my old stuff.
i tried to buy inexpensive stuff since I don't really have to dress up for work - Old Navy, Gap and Sears.

Re: cost of maternity clothes
thanks for all the responses It's so frustrating to not be able to wear your normal clothes. I feel like i have no selection for work. I can go to work VERY casual so that makes it a bit easier but i just can't see spending a lot on clothes that are going to be for 5-6 more months. I got: 7 tops 4 pairs of pants 1 sweatshirt 1 pair of jeans
spent about $300 and it was all on sale at gap and old navy I still need more stuff but i hate spending the money....2nd issue..i love to shop so i want to keep shopping for maternity clothes

Re: cost of maternity clothes
About 1500. I bought... 1 pair of designer jeans 2 pairs of jeans form Mimi 1 pair of cordoroys 2 pairs of black suit pants 1 pair of leggings 2 pairs of workout pants 1 workout top 3 cotton shirts 3 black silk tops that aren't maternity but are big and can wear again after 2 cashmere sweaters 2 long cotton sweater jackets-can wear again after baby 3 sweaters 3 bras 2 bella bands
I work in the fashion industry and have to wear all black on some days. I wear jeans almost every day to work and on the weekends so I need a few pairs. I still feel like I need more!

Re: cost of maternity clothes
I'm almost 18 weeks and I've spent around $300 so far. My mom also bought me a winter maternity coat so if you include that over $400! I hope to get GC's for Christmas so I don't have to spend too much more of my own money on more clothes.

Re: cost of maternity clothes
I'm about 15 weeks and if I had to guess I would say I probably spent about $150. And that's with me using clothes from my first pregnancy too!!! Although with Kiera I was mostly pregnant during the summer so most of my shirts are short sleeves and my pants were light. So far this time I've bought:
2 sweaters 1 button down shirt 2 pairs of pants 1 christmas type shirt 2 regular long sleeves tops
I am getting a maternity jacket for Christmas and I'm really hoping that people give me gift cards so I can get some more shopping done.

I've been doing that...the only problem is the bigger the size the longer the pants. I'm only 5'1".
