how often did you have blood work done?
I finally got an ob to see me, but they are still going to re do all my bloodwork, so lucky me, I get to pass out again..I will be 16 weeks
Dont they do the glucose test at 20?
any other blood tests I should know about?

There's that one test where they prick your finger. but that's a piece of cake. It's done around 15 weeks I think? I may be wrong.

This is what I had as far as blood work.
Confirm BFP - 7 weeks
1st blood work up - 11 weeks
AFP test - 16 weeks
1 hour GD test - 28 weeks
3 hour GD test - 30 weeks
2nd blood work up - 35 weeks
I never had a prick the finger blood test as the PP did.

i had blood taken at 9 weeks,
glucose at 27 weeks
and once more coming up around 36 weeks

I had blood taken:
around 7 weeks
around 15 weeks
25 weeks
not sure if they are going to take any more... doc hasn't said anything yet

1st blood work up - 8 weeks
AFP test - 17 weeks
(finger prick test)
Next will be my glucose test

I had blood taken early on. They forgot to run some of the tests so I had to go back around 12 weeks.
I had the ultrascreen at 12 weeks, so they did a finger prick test.
I had the GD testing at 27 weeks.
I think that's all I had to go for. I'm almost 34 weeks now and they haven't mentioned any other bloodwork.

What does AFP stand for?
dont remember what it stands for but it was a test that looks for spina bifida and can also be used to determine (not with certainty) if there is a concern for Downs. This was the only genetic type testing we had. It was not a finger prick for me, I went to the lab and they took one vial.
