Need help from all the men here?!
I want to get my DH a sling box for X-Mas and I have no clue where to start. I know that Amazon has a bunch that are reasonalbe but I have no idea what to look for in one. My DH always researches everything to death before he purchases things like that too but I am clueless and want it to be a surprise. HELP!! TIA

I am not a man but perhaps I can help you out.
We got the slingbox and it is so cool. We actually got the classic model when it first came out. They no longer make that model nowadays.
There are three models currently:
Sling Media Slingbox Tuner
Good & Cheapest Option
Sling Media Slingbox A/V
Better & Medium Price
Sling Media Slingbox Pro
Best & Highest Price

Slingbox hooks up your cable through your internet connection so you can watch cable tv through your internet.
So we can watch live TV on our PDAs and laptops as long as we have a internet/wi-fi connection. You can switch channels, increase volume etc. We had to install the Sling Media Player on the PDA/Laptop also.

You can go to the slingbox website to find the model best suited for your DH. Also i believe that Best Buy or Circuit City has a slingbox on sale this week.
