Poll: What would you do?

Background: Thought we were PG after AF was 4 days late in October (weren't actively trying at the time). This kicked babyfever into high gear so we decided to actively start trying in November. Used OPKs. AF was 9 days late, but did show.

Now we're not sure if we should skip a month or continue trying. We have an important event at/around the estimated due date if we were to get pregnant in December. The event would require flying, and would be approximately 2 weeks before the estimated due date (but how accurate is that? it's based on an approximate ovulation date).

What would you do?

Re: Poll: What would you do?

i personally would never hold off on TTC for any event, no matter how big. IMO, life is too short to wait for something like this, especially if you don't know whether it will happen or not. but that is just ME - you have to do what is right for YOU. we all have different circumstances.

Re: Poll: What would you do?

You probably wouldn't be able to fly two weeks before your due date without a doctor's note. Also the baby could come early. If the eventis a must be at then I would probably skip this month. If it isn't a command performance then go for it!

Re: Poll: What would you do?

You are technically not supposed to fly at all in your last trimester, so even if you skip this month & get pregnant next month it's likely you still wouldn't be able to fly. So, if you are just waiting so that you can fly, I wouldn't wait.

same here--I've waited years thus far, only to find out that it's going to be a struggle. I say go for it, and whatever happens, happens!

Same here. If we have to bail out of other plans because we are due we'd gladly do that.

Re: Poll: What would you do?

Nope- I wouldn't hold off at all.

May I ask what the event is?
Because seriously, if it is an event for a sister or brothers wedding, then MAYBE. But, if it is for a vacation or something like that - or even a party- never!!
