Cleaning is so cathartic!

Our place is a disaster right now, but we are purging just so much!!! I can't wait! I just want a simple, nice, home.

We are getting rid of (donating, selling) electronics, books, clothes, old phones...I don't want it owning us anymore.

I hear ya, sister! We cleaned our hearts out yesterday and fixed a couple of things around here and I feel so much better (DH says no, but i know he agrees...haha!) Even donated some books to the library today! Good for you!

You're so right. 5 years ago I decided that I was going to be more organized. My boyfriend (now my DH) and I were going to move in together in a year and I literally threw something away (or donated it) every day for a year. It completely changed how I live.

I totally agree.

I always try to donate items I don't want. Or give them away. Or I even put them out in plain sight for the garbage, b/c people always come around taking things we put out and I rather things get taken and reused than end up in a landfill.

But I love that feeling of getting rid of clutter! I hear ya!
