no i dont think so, i use carmex for chapped lips and i think it just soothes not heals....i dont personally get them but my dh gets them all the time when he gets run-down or sick so he usually uses abreva and he swears by it

Try Abreva and take an aspirin a day. The aspirin cuts the healing time in half.

every half hour or so, it will be gone in a day or two!!
