iPod ?
What kind of iPod do you have? Nano vs regular? How many GB's? Do you have enough memory?
Which kind would you get now???
I am debating between this one:
80 GB Traditional iPod $219
vs. new Nano only 8 GB $199
I am going to be traveling and I would like the ability to download movies / tv shows... not sure how much memory those take up. Thanks!!!

Re: iPod ?
I have the old school Nano in white. I think it's only 1Gb..not a lot of room for songs. We just bought my dad the new ipod nano 4gb.

Re: iPod ?
I have the 30GB and I have about 3000 songs and no movies or shows. I have 9GB to spare. I'd get the larger one if you plan to store a lot on there.

Re: iPod ?
I would go with the ipod with the most memory.. it's only a 20 dollar difference.

The only thing is that I think it may be a little bulky for the gym... Those who have regular iPods, do you wear them on an arm band in the gym?

I have the Nano but I saw the reg iPods over the weekend at Best Buy and IMO, they're not very big. you can either wear it around your waist with a clip or an arm band.

Re: iPod ?
i would definitely go with the regular sized iPod - the screen on the new nano is just too small for my liking, and movies take up a LOT of space.

Re: iPod ?
I'd still get the regular iPod for the gym. It's not that bulky and you can find arm bands or belts for it.
I use mine in the gym but I just put it in the cup holder on the treadmill.

Re: iPod ?
If youre planning on doing all that with your ipod, then you'll definitely need the 80gb. I think I have the 60gb ipod and its filled to the max with music. I iwsh I had more room!
And as far as the gym is concerned...I didnt like bringing my regular ipod to the gym because I was afraid something would happen to it. So I just went out and got the ipod shuffle. It only holds about 250 songs but its perfect for the gym cause its super small and just clips on to your shirt or pants. It was a good solution for me cause its only $80. But they definitely do sell arm bands for the regular size ipods so you can always go that route. Heres a pic of the shuffle I have....

Re: iPod ?
I have the older white faced Nano and love it....I believe its 4gb....and plan to upgrade eventually to the newest nano.
I would find the bigger ipod too big for the gym. I also do a lot of running outside and wouldnt want the bigger device.

Re: iPod ?
I don't know what the name of mine is....the regular ipod? It's white, has a 4 inch video screen and has 60 GB of memory. I'm not "techno-savvy" at all!

Re: iPod ?
I just got my husband the 80GB one. I highly recommend it. 8GB is not enough!
ETA: Where did you see it for $219? Are you sure you don't mean the 30GB? The lowest I got one month ago was $250, free shipping, no tax.
