For those that havn't received star rebate...

I got an email that they are behind...

Amazing, they (NYS) said i would get a confirmation email when i did the transaction (i never got one) but I get this 4 weeks after people applied around the same time and area, and gotten there checks..

This is a message from the New York State Department of Taxation and
Finance about your 2007 Middle Class STAR Rebate.

We have received your completed application and appreciate your timely
submission. While most rebates have been processed, some applications
require additional processing time. We apologize for the delay but can
assure you we are working very hard to issue rebates as quickly as
possible.

There has been a great response to the program; we are currently
processing over 2 million applications from property owners across the
state. We will continue to process applications and issue rebate checks as
quickly as possible.

We will provide you with email updates until we complete the processing of
your application. It is not necessary for you to call, as our phone
representatives do not have any additional information regarding the date
that your check will be issued.

I hope this puts people mind at ease as i seen alot of you are waiting for this...
