See this I never understood-now for the record I don't say either but "I could care less" is just a sarcastic version of "I couldn't care less isn't it?"
No, 99.99% of the time, it's people saying the phrase incorrectly.

"My bad" is probably on the top of my list.
I also hate when people say "To make a long story short". I always say to myself "it's too late for that"
Another is when people say "Six of one, half dozen of the other" as if it is all one line, without the comma. It's like they don't even understand what it means.

I just hate that phrase, whether it's used correctly or not. DH and his family say it ALL THE TIME. So I make fun of them by saying something like "six dozen of one, twelve of the other" or something else that makes no sense.
