I would go to the doctor I really liked, Id much rather have someone I am super comfortable with and happy with in the delivery room with me. You can have all your records sent to his office in 1 day, plus you have been seeing him, so its not like a new doctor

I absolutely agree. You want to feel comfortable with the dr who will be in the delivery room and I think changing over now would probably make you happier than staying with the more established dr.

I agree on all accounts too!

I'd go w/ Dr. #1; its so impt to feel 100% comfortable w/ your dr. In my dr office the same thing, 2 dr.'s....one I saw most of the pregnancy & she is great, but not as personable & more "by the book" the 2nd dr. (her practice) I saw near the end & both DH & I felt so much more at ease w/ her; thankfully she was the one that delivered our dd (although Dr. #2 was there when my labor started). Go w/ who you are at ease w/ & I can feel for you b/c I'd feel "scared" too to call & ask for my files. Chat Icon

Debbie...Trust me, go with who you feel comfortable. I switched my OB at 7 mos preggo and it was the best thing I could have done. This is the doc who not only is going to take care of you but also your baby boy. I cant say that I would be comfortable with someone taking care of me in the home stretch after only 2 visits and during those 2 visits had no personality. It will all work out whatever you decide.
