didn't she used to be Phyllis of Gownfind.
I guess she's found elegance as well
she needs to raise some hell.
I stressed MAJORLY about my bm dresses (not with this vendor though) and it plagued me until literally the day of my wedding.
a senseless worry if people could get their sh1t together.

you would be surprised how willing they would be to help you- my friend Jackie had a really bad situation with anothe rbridal shop (MrsPorkchops sister- so some of you know the story already) and the manufacture got her the dress with in the week
then I would come up with a back up plan- just to make myself feel better- either have everyone were a black dress- or look at the Jcrew Catalog and have everyone order something
but please don't get sick over this- at the end of the day- no one is going to notice the bridemaids dresses- you wedding will still be amazing- and most importantly- you will be married
I think most of us can relate to the fact that we spent alot of time worrying about all these little things- and in the end- the outcome was the same! don't stress!
i know exactly what u mean but its not the dreses that are really freaing me out.. its the principal of it. that is just BAD business. i have a business to and I would NEVER think of treating my customers this way. Not only that but I feel terrible for my poor bridesmaids that hav shelled out all this money... i cant possible ask them to shell out more. its ust not fair. I want the store to take care of thier responsabilities. i paid them in full and i should have had dresses here over a month ago. Like i said its the principal of it.. idont like being made fun on and i dont like getting the run around.. with these people this is how i feel. Im getting a runaround and i really dont like it.

I agree with you- they should get there money back in full- she should refund you the money today

My best friend used her as well for her dress and the girls dresses. Her dress came in on time but was the wrong dress, it was supposed to be a corset but they gave her buttons. So it had to be reorderd. Then a month before the wedding I went to get my fitting, after I was informed my dress was there, and I get there and NO dress. She left me in the dressing room for an hour after I handed her back a dress that was not mine. Finally I got so ****** I flew out and the entire place was huddled around the phone trying to find my dress that never shipped in the first place. She told me she HOPED to have it in two weeks but couldn't guarantee. My reponse was that I HOPED for her sake my dress arrived because I was the MOH and I would guarantee that I would come in every single day to raise Holy hell until the situation was corrected. 3 days later my dress arrived....

Hey girls, I am the friend Em is talking about.. and ihave gone down there twice. i dunno wha else to do. everytime i go i am assured theya re coming and that by the next day i willhave a tracking numbr and still nothing. i havebeen calling and trying to get to the bottom of things for a month now and im getting very very very upset. what can i do? i yell and scream and rant and still no dresses i have 8 bridesmaid so its not like i can just walk into a store and take 2 off the rack. im so upset im gonna throw up.
I have 3 letters for you ---- BBB!!! I would draft up a letter to the BBB and bring it or fax it to Bridal Elegance attn Phyllis--- and tell her that you'll be sending it out first thing tomorrow morning if you don't have a tracking number. I'd also share with her that reputation is everything and that a site like LIW could very well break her and that you'd "hate to have to give her negative feedback for all of the stress she's causing you".

I didn't have a great experience with her. I think the problem is that her business is growing faster than she can handle and as a result a number of problems occur.
She was better off staying in her house and remaining a small business.
