Opinions Please
I know I should probably go to LIW for this but would rather your opinions --- I am sending out my Thank You's from my wedding. I have two people who came to the wedding and did not bring a gift. I have to send Thank You's anyway right? What do I do? I have to send to one guy because he is roommates with another guest who did bring a gift and will be def. be receiving a thank you.

Write thank you for sharing our day on the person's who didn't give a gift, and thank you for your generous gift on the other one. that's what i would do. Of course, embellish where needed

Not everyone will agree on this. I sent them to everyone who came to the wedding, gift or no gift, and to anyone who sent us a gift that didn't attend.
ETA: we did get a few late gifts

We did the same. I sent them out if someone sent something to us down the road. Can't even give us a card you get nothing in return in my book.

i had 1 person who did not give a gift. not only that, we later on found out the he was the one who took the table camera from his table into the bathroom and took pics of the toilet bowls, all different angles!!! so he definately didn't get a thank you

I had 1 person (a family member!) not give a gift and I wrote "THank you for sharing our day with us"
I had one other person who didnt give us a gift either (he keeps saying he owes us) - he was a groomsman!! I didnt send him a card. I will when we get the gift he says he "owes: us.

My inlaws are horrible. They were upset I did not invite kids. So I guess they wanted to boycott. I had to have them there or else it would have looked like my birthday party.
They were not going to come at all, mad that they would have to get babysitters. So I was just glad they showed.
ETA:Drama all coming back to me now. MY FIL was a no show. He was upset at my MIL. So I thought that was already sick, so I did not care about his aunt/uncles/and cousins not bringing a gift, really just happy someone showed on his day.

thats okay. 3 years ago...people do get wacky when it comes to weddings.
Many were also from OOT, so I try to blame that. I also use to only blame aunts and uncles, then I started adding his cousins into total as well.
