I can't stand cell phones in general, but especially in movies --- seriously if you can't go 2 hours without being available to everyone you know then just be with them and not at the movies.

I HATE cellphones!!!!! During movies and especially during live performances. I remember in the middle of my big dramatic song in "Miss Saigon" and some audience members phone started ringing and then they ANSWERED it and started talking!!!!! RUDE, RUDE, RUDE!!

OMG...that's awful!!
At my friend's wedding she put a note in the program about turning off your cell phone or atleast the ringer. The preist made a request prior to the ceremony. OF course some idiot's phone rings right in the middle of the ceremony.

Exactly!! i HATEEEEEEE cell phones, and find them to be rude and obnoxious is Most circumstances in which theyre involved. NO ONE is that important that they need to have that thing attached to their ear for Everything that they do. RUDE!!!!!

Happened at my friends wedding mass, and at a live performance! I HATE them in public places. Movies, restaurants, school, the lounge @ work..
My friends wedding, priest is talking and ring, ring, the BMs and I just looked @ each other, like "Youve gotta be kidding"!
We went to see Dave Coulier (Joey from Full House) a few years ago at Governer's. A guys phone rang, and he ANSWERED it!
Well, Dave didnt like that, and the next 10 mins. of his act were all focused on the guy and his phone. When it 1st rang Dave was like "Oh, wait, no, I'll get it for ya"..LOL...and he just went on, and on.
People are so inconsiderate with phones.

I agree. I'm a parent and when we go to the movies we put the phone on vibrate. If it goes off we walk out of the theater and answer it.

This drives me NUTS!!! Every movie I go to, without fail, has at least one cell phone going off, and, even worse, some people answer them in the theatre!!
