AF arrived...(long) - Updated
So, here we go again. At least now I know I have a 12 day LP since I triggered Saturday the 15th at night and O'd I think Monday morning. For the first time in about 11 years LOL.
After this last cycle was cancelled DH and I went to a consult with the doctor. He said that our best bet would be IVF at this point since I have trouble getting the right # of follies for a "natural" cycle (no IVF, just ovulation induction and BDing or IUI).
That said, we will not be in the position (for a number of reasons including financial) until after the first of the year to proceed with IVF. Right now I'm ok with that. At first I was disappointed but I know its only 3 more months.
So, the doctor, DH and I have decided to try two more injectible cycles in the meantime since my insurance covers it. He will try putting me on a lower dose and playing with it a little bit. We'll see if that can prevent me from stimming too much. If it doesn't work I'm thinking of taking that third month off - December - from treatments and just taking some time to prepare for the IVF and enjoying the holidays.
So, that's my plan, I start my shots on Monday night and start this all over again. Good luck to all of you ladies struggling to stay positive.
Update: Well this would be almost funny if it wasn't so annoying...went for a sono this morning and my left ovary has 3 huge cysts on it...so we're holding off on the injections and I have to go for another sono next Monday to see if they've gone away on their own.

Thanks...it's ok though, I knew she was coming. I had too many follies (9) after my last round of injections so my cycle was cancelled because the risk of high order multiples was too dangerous. We couldn't BD for a week just in case.
Poor DH...he is getting so confused LOL. One week we do it every day, the next week we can't go near each other. Or we have to wait 2 days and then BD. He always asks "are we allowed today?"
