Re: Dita Von Teese
Why is she famous?
Is she in movies?
I don't get the hype about her.

Re: Dita Von Teese
well...burlesque is the original form of stripping! it's considered sexy and erotic and tasteful, not "hoochie." The June Cleaver look is just her homage to old-school, ladylike attitude and appearance....my guess!

Weren't the Pussycat Dolls a burlesque act as well? You don't see them dressing like Lucille Ball! This chick lives in another era.

LOL. I think maybe they did start out as burlesque...hoochie-fied burlesque! Dita has this famous thing where she shimmies out of a giant martini glass...I'd love to see June try that.

Re: Dita Von Teese
I used to really like her look, but I'm getting seriously sick of it now. It's such a shtick, same old thing over and over and over again.

I was just thinking the same thing.
i mean the dress is really cute, but she's starting to bore me. I guess its cool that she stays true to herself, but its getting boring.

I see a pic of her and think of my grandmother. She resembles her so much from when she was young. Both beautiful.
