Okay, I like Dane Cook's comedy a lot...
but does anyone think he jumped the shark just a bit with now coming out with music? I mean, its not a bad song...but how much is he going to do? He's totally overexposing himself, IMO.
Here's where you can hear the song, someone putting clips together with the song...but the song isn't even like a funny, Adam Sandler type thing. He's totally serious.

i cant hear the song at work, but i do think he jumped the shark- even with his comedy routine- a while ago. I used to love him, now i'm sick of his predictable, yet annoying, spasms

I think I'm the only one who never really thought he was that funny.
He actually annoyed me more than he made me laugh. He kind of reminded me of Jim Carey's stand up. Which in my opinion can be way over the top and too much all at once.

Dane Cook song
I saw Dane about 4 years ago. Right before his second CD came out. He wasn't really that popular back then. I saw him at Carolines and after the show he signed autographs. He was a really nice guy. While I do like his older comedy still. I think he is trying everything possibly and no matter where I turn he is in some new tv special or movie.

It wouldn't bother me so much if it was another comedy album. It's just that its a serious song. Imagine Adam Sandler coming out with a serious song??

The song sounds like a "Christian rock" song. Very bad.
And I thought his last HBO special was horrible. I couldn't even watch the whole thing. His earlier stuff was funny but I guess it gets old.
