I am in so much pain..
Just had Part 2 of my root canal done....top molar alllllllll the way in the back. And I have a tiny mouth. Turns out not all of the root was out so I still had some nerve in there...so when the dentist started scraping, the pain was BLINDING...I started to see white and almost passed out.... I had to get more anastesia and then just get it over with...I had tears running down my face. She gave me a break to let the anasthesia work and to calm down...
Since it's my last day here and already 3, I may just finish up, call it a day and go home....

Oh no feel better
I am having pain in my tooth as wel today, sucks, I may have to waste a saturday and see the dentist tommorrow!!

I have been going thru this since Sept 5th. I feel your pain. I am just starting to get relief today- 10 days later. I am so sorry you have the pain. The other day I just sat down and started crying. Belive it or not, the best pain pills were my migriane ones- I only found out to use them when I had a migraine- Furonol is/was my best friend! it worked better then the pain pills the dentist gave me. Feel free to FM mail me if you need to talk. Eat soft very soft foods- At one pt, I was not able to eat becuase my teeth when I tried to chew would have the slightest tap and I would be in bad pain. Here is what I have been living on - yougurt, Stouffers Mac and cheese, soup, Carnation Instant breakfast, egg drop soup, applesauce, then I graudated to baked potatoes from Wendy's and Frostys, Eggplant parm , baked ziti- not too much cheese- too much chewing, and scrambled eggs. Oh I feel your pain-

PS I am scared to go for the final fitting of the crown! My other root canal was a walk in the park, hardly any pain at all compared to this one.
