Bath mats

Can I just throw my dirty bath mats in the washing machine?

Re: Bath mats

Is this the bath mat you stand on after getting out of the shower? They have the rubber backing on them?

If so, you can definitely throw them in the machine.

Yeah, I hang them dry if they have the rubber backing. That gets very hot and damaged in the dryer.

I was Chat Icon when I read this, because DH is completely skeeved at the idea of washing the bathmat in the machine, or with anything else. He was washing his in a bucket before I met him, though I finally convinced him it's okay to wash it in the machine (gets cleaner). I just don't wash it with anything else.Chat Icon
