My friend was going to have me get a tattoo tonight!!!
Her friend is a tattoo artist, and she texted me and said "tattoo planned 4 u. (tattoo artist) on board."
I'm like - uh - hell NO! Not tonight!
She is covered in tats. I have none. I want to put some time and thought into getting one, not just do it for "fun"
I think its cool that I'll get one for free, but I want to have one designed with Cailen in mind, and not just do this spur of the moment... Although the artist is great and could probably do something really nice...
what do you guys think?
I'm sure I can get a rain check on this!

I would wait and make sure it's a Tat that means something to you. I waited 4ever but I ultimately got the one I designed and it has special meaning to me.

I have been thinking of something for years - a turtle, but wanted something meaningful on the shell. I decided I want Cailen's handprint, so have to do it pretty soon - or at least get the hand prnt soon... but also want something with motherhood in it as well... also, I want it on my lower back so want to lose some more weight first....

Take his little handprint now and save it for when you are ready!

I did exactly this. My cousin passed away in March and I put her initials in the shell with a starfish (many many trips to the beach with her in search of starfishes inspired this)
