No, we try to always send a gift with our "no" RSVP. One time we RSVP'd no and sent our gift a couple weeks later.

yes b/c I haven't talked to this person in a very long time and she moved away and I honestly don't know why I was invited in the first place!
But in general, if I can't go, I always send something...

I put "No" but I meant in the RSVP envelope. I always send something around the date of the wedding.

Mostly I send something, 99% of the time. We did get a very random invite one time - I have no idea why these people had us on their list. I didn't send anything that time.

we've never rsvp'd no to a wedding either but if we did, i would probably send them something off of their registry and not cash.
i had people rsvp no to our wedding and not even give so much as an explanation why, and surprise surprise, no gift either.

Me too, but I gave the gift to the bride ( coworker) on her last day at work.
I'd only skip a gift, if it was a really random, fishing for gifts invite, but even then I might send something small.
ETA- I think all of my "no" responses sent a gift.
