I just posted on parenting a picture from a year ago of my sick little baby in the NICU when he was born and a picture from now - hope the striking difference brings you even more positive vibes for your little one. It is truly amazing to me how resilient these little babies are!!!

i saw. He has the most amazing eyes.
I am learning to take it in stride. Today they bought in two 1lb babies. Looking at my daughter made me realize how lucky we were that she is considered a "big" preemie at 4 pounds.

you're welcome - I feel for you and know how hard it is to be on the rollercoaster ride of the NICU. But it sounds like your DD is alot healthier than my DS was...so I thought it could give you some perpective on the bright future that lies ahead!

So far she gained 4 oz. She is still breathing on her own. Her hurdle is the sucking reflex. She gets tired easily so I am hopeful this changes as time goes on.
