Why do I need to know this?
Just a little vent .....
As if I'm not under enough stress ... For the third night in a row, my DH comes home and tells me that he was stopped in his company van and thoroughly checked (inside and out) by NYPD with a geiger counter and mirrors after going through the Midtown Tunnel. Since he was blocks away from WTC on 9/11 ... and I still think about that all the time ... I really don't need to hear about this "dirty bomb threat" every night with updates about geiger counter checks.
Men! I told him tonight ... PLEASE ... no more updates. I'm nervous enough already about his daily trips into Midtown.
Does this freak anyone else out a little bit?

 If he feels the need to tell you, it's probably because it makes him nervous, too. I know it's hard to hear, but it must be hard to experience, too
