Another Godparent Question
when do you ask them? Before or after the baby is born? Does it matter?

I thought you always waited till after, but my mom said no. So I asked after the 20 week sonogram - they were both thrilled. I like that they know beforehand, they are so interested in the pregnancy itself. Plus my mom said they might want to do something special for your shower.
