Disliking your boss

So this has never happened to me. I have really liked every boss I ever had.

But now, I have one boss I can't stand. It makes me so miserable and I actually want to quit over it.

I have been here less than 3 months and he repeatedly makes me feel like an idiot. I have never had this before- even when I was fresh out of law school and knew nothing.

Today I ask him a question and he freaken answers me with this "madame counsellor, in order to win your case you must read your file". The case was already won before I was even hired by this firm I had a freaken procedural question. So now I will read a file that literally takes up an entire file cabinet to know who I should send the original piece of one paper to

im sorry he is making your job miserable, i know how much it can affect your day.
a boss of mine always would look at me like i had 9 heads if i asked him a question - made me feel stupid
nothing worse than that

i can relate. that's why i left my last job, after 5 years of hoping it would get better. it can really make your entire life miserable.

sorry... I know the feeling.
The president of our company treats everyone like they are an idiot. He's one reason i hope to not come back after maternity leave.

Yup - been there, done that.

One of the main reasons I quit.

That's ok, at the least the partner you work for didn't tell you that you can only wear your hair back (in a pony tail, bun, etc.) or possibly I can wear it down if it is straightened.

That's right - I can't wear my beautiful, thick, wavy hair down. I will post the full story tomorrow - it's a good one
