Help for my dad
I'm seriously in need of help for my dad. If anyone knows of a part time job in a clerical capacity in Nassau or Western Suffolk, please let me know.
He's a senior citizen who's sharp and very computer saavy. I'll be happy to forward a resume on his behalf.
Looks like mom and dad will be moving back sooner than expected and his employment is crucial.
Thanks for listening.

Re: Help for my dad
I don't know of any spefically, but my first thought is to check with hospitals (they tend to have alot of PT/per diem positions) and real estate offices (they usually need someone for a few hours in the evenings).
Good luck!!

The local Department of Labor office might have listings.

Re: Help for my dad
thanks. I know that it's just a matter of going through the regular channels, I was just hoping to make a connection with someone I "knew" for him. I will check out your suggestions as well as the normal stuff.
They're not here yet, but will be in about a month. The quicker he's employed, the less money I have to front them..
