Now that you explained your points, I say stay home. If you're still looking for dinner, go out with Jay. Soon just the two of you won't be able to go out together.

I hadn't even mentioned the whole thing to Jay until last night. He doesn't want me riding the train alone, and he knows I can barely stay awake past 9:00PM and doesn't want me walking in the city exhausted. In our entire relationship he has NEVER asked me not to do something, or said no when I asked if he minded if I did something. However, he has made it clear he is uncomfortable with this event. I think that is the icing on the cake for me to stay home.

Honestly, even though I felt great at 24 weeks, I still was not up to any evening events unless it was a quiet dinner...I would go to the dinner (take a cab from Penn to the restaurant for sure), but I am not sure about the strip club.
