I made it to 36 weeks!!!
I am so excited that I made it to 36 weeks!!!
As I had posted before, at 32 wks Dr thought i was in preterm labor bc i was already 90% effaced and 3-4 cm dilated...so i was in the hospital for 4 days, and then put on bed rest at home. I took some meds to stop contractions and was given steroids to strengthen  lungs in case he came early.
At my 35 there was no change and I go back to the Dr again on Friday. She has taken me off of bed rest bc he can safely be born at this point.  
I cannot believe that I have been walking around so effaced & dilated with no change for this long...CRAZY!!!!
I am so excited to have made it this far though!!!! Just a few weeks ago I thought I might be having a premie and was prepping myself for the NICU...and now im only 5 days away from whats considered "full-term"

CONGRATS!!!! that is WONDERFUL!!! i am in a somewhat similar situation - no cervical changes yet, but constant contractions with the threat of preterm labor.
i am counting the days until i can rest easy knowing that the baby can be born any day and he would be OK.
enjoy this time!!!
