when you are sooooo full?
dh can't drive after a huge meal. he drives like he is drunko.

I get EXTREMELY tired after eating - especially food high in carbs. I would imagine there is some sort of chemical reaction that causes the body to get weaker with the consumption of certain foods. I know that foods like bologna and turkey have nitrates that cause people to get sleepy. That is why Thanksgiving has a very high rate of auto accidents after the dinners.

Its funny - Rich gets tired after eating and I always found that soooooo strange!
I would think the food would pep you up!

We starve ourselves for hours before going to our favorite restaurant so we can eat more once we get there.
We pig out so bad, that when we get up at the end of the meal, we feel weighed down.
So if it's nice out, instead of getting in the car and driving home, we'll walk down to the beach first, and walk back.
Just 10-15 minutes of exercise before we get in the car, and even though it probably doesn't do much for our waistlines, it makes us feel better about gorging ourselves.
