For those of you that have Plasma TV's
When the screen is black is it normal for you to see a sort of burned in outline of what you just were doing on the TV afterwards and then by morning it's gone? For example, my brother got a Plasma TV and he plays his XBOX 360 on it. Well, after he's done playing a game that is sort of like Tetris, when he shuts it off you can sort of see shadows/outlines of what you were just playing. Also, you can see the outline of the menu list if you leave it on for a while. Is it suppose to do that? He's ready to return it but I said I'd check on here first. It does go away when you turn the TV on the next day. Any thoughts? Is this just a bad TV he got or is it normal? Thanks!

Unfortunately the original plasma tv's that came out a couple of years ago had this problem. They recommed LCD tvs for people who like to play video games a lot.

Exactly... Tell your brother if he IS going to play video games, make sure he shuts the TV off if he pauses it... That will stop the image from burning into the screen.
Also, they do reccomend playing games that have constant movement in them so images don't get burned.

Re: For those of you that have Plasma TV's
Do you think it's the brand or did he just luck out and got a faulty TV? He can bring it back still. I don't know if he can afford another brand or an LCD.
