Bella and Lexi watch Animal Planet when we're out. They pop some popcorn, and drink tall glasses of iced tea, too.
I always wonder what they both do when we're not home...

No, but...and this kills me...my grandfather admitted to calling the dogs and talking to them on the answering machine when there's a storm so they won't get nervous. 
I used to do this when I lived with my friend. I would call Layla to let her know I would be home soon. 
But I did it once when my friend was home and Layla went nuts, running around the house looking for me. I used to play hide and go seek with her, so she thought it was a game.
I felt bad, making her think I was there, so I stopped doing it.

I've done this...not so much when there was a storm, but if I was traveling. I also leave the radio on my kitty.
