I'd prefer the kitchen and no dining room. It's important to me to have a roomy kitchen so I am comfortable working in.

i would go for the larger kitchen with table in it.... its such a better set up for when you have people over. everyone can be in the same room, you can be talking to people while you're finishing up cooking or whatever... its better to have one open room than two seperate ones.

No dining room. IMO formal dining rooms are old fashioned and not necessarily condusive to modern living.
