What do you have above your Fireplace?
Here is a picture with the previous owners stuff in it. We are repainting the room this week a tan color. Our new sofa is tan and we'll have red and brown accents in the room.
Not sure what to look for to put above the fireplace...A nice piece of art or a mirror.
Any suggestions or pics?

I'll try to post pics later (my camera needs batteries), but we have two candles...apothacary jars and a large mirror, which fills in the space, b/c we have 10ft ceilings

Our fireplace is very similar to yours. We're still "under construction" but plan to do a mirror over it.

I have my 20x20 wedding picture (it's not close up in the pic, it looks more like artwork then a wedding pic) and some frames.

That looks like the type of rooms that they do on "Designed to Sell" on HGTV. I think the color is nice too.
We have our wedding picture above the fireplace... but when we get to that corner of the house to remodel, I think we will go with a tasteful painting.
