TTA during frist Metformin cycle?
I'm probably starting Metformin next cycle (if I'm not pregnant, which is very unlikely). The doc said that I am to avoid getting pregnant during the first month. I was really overwhelmed during my appt and I can't remember what the reason was. Any idea?

I'm not so sure about that, my doctor didn't say we couldn't try. She gave me my RX told me if I wasn't pregnant within 3 months to come back and they would do IUI.

From what I was told Met helps to prevent m/c as well as get you to O so you can get pregnant. If you are not on your full dose for the month then you may not have the added protection against m/c. Since pcos women are at a higher risk of loss we need all the help we can get. good luck with the Met
