In Queens - Backdrafts, Sally O's and the Breffni
In Manhattan, UES, I can't even remember the names but all up and down 2nd ave!!! 
This is pretty much where I went also. I lived half way between Sally O's & the Breffni and spent a lot of time in the Bliss and Stephen's Green (in my late teens/early 20's). Later on it was the Orchard, Blooms & Horgan's.
In the city it was mostly Flemming's on 86th and Avalon on 2nd Ave.

I was a Queens girl- I lived at BB Juniors, Burbon Street, Little King on Bell Blvd but did go the Island occasionally. I loved going to Long Beach but can't remember any names of bars there.
My best friend and I used to go into the city and try to be cool but never knew where to go.
I do remember many boardy Barn days and Schooners on Fire Island too.
