Among my group of 6 couples with whom we always hang out, we have this debate EVERY WEEK. Its split down the middle, half go over and half go under. When we go to each others houses/apt's, we "fix" the rolls.

 OMG...My best friend and I both do this too!
We're both over people and if we go to someone's house we find ourselves FIXING the TP
This weekend he stayed with us and as a joke he put it the WRONG way

My cousin who happened to be VP of AMEX taught me that overachievers put the tp over. If it worked for her, then it was good enough for me.

I like under, easier to unroll - but DH likes it over. I've conceded to over, only b/c I heard Ellen Degeneres prefers over - then I retought it and descided to let DH have it his way.

Always over. Guess its a holdOVER from my childhood (my mother stressed the significance of the paper being over), and I wonder why I'm not normal.
