I've glimpsed my future...
I took care of my coworkers 11 month old daughter today (best baby EVER, btw). And I was putting her down for the night...
She's doing the blinking of the eyes... almost asleep. When DH comes in to play with her. Followed by our dog, who then jumps on the bed and decides it's time to play.
Trin then proceeds to fight sleep and cry for the next 45 minutes.
And DH doesn't understand what he did wrong.

He just looks at me and says "But I just wanted to play with the baby before she left. No need to shoot daggers at me."
I'm instating a rule NOW that when we have a baby, he is not allowed near it after 7 unless he plans to stay with said baby for the remainder of the night

Oh, just wait. I got a message on my voicemail the other day from JT telling me that Ava had a stomach virus and was throwing up, only to find out, she threw up once after he held her upside down right after lunch. Um, HELLO!

Mine too.
I always get "What's the big deal hon?" As he riles up Damien to the point of no return right before we put him to bed.
