Did you ever think the future would be more...
like the Jetsons?
well me and my hubby were talking about it this weekend- ( he was making fun of me) and he just called to tell me Popular Science magazine is question the same things- he picked up a copy for me-and I can't wait to read when my flying car is coming out!

yes....but back in 1985, 2006 seemed soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo far away and by then we must have houses on the moon

I know I was just watching back to the future part 2 and the year they go back to is 2014 ( I think)
it was less then 10 years from now- so strange
I guess when I was little in 1985- 2006 seemed like a lifetime away

Now when you look at the cartoon its so old looking. I am still holding out for the "breakfast in pill form"

Yes, especially in the 80s (elementary school). Space exploration was a big thing, we always learned about how people would be eventually able to live there.

I am actually pretty impressed at where we are right now. We have cell phones, connections to others around the world through internet, online schooling etc...If they could now just make "sit and lose weight" I'd be perfectly happy!

I think it's just a matter of time...we have come a long way in terms of technology...
And like you, my husband loves this magazine. He is a suscriber and gets delivered at home. When he's reading this, it's like "his time". I must say it is a pretty interesting reading. You always get to find out what's next out there.
