Re: Your Neighbors
Mine are all great. I'm not home too often during the day or early evening, so I sometimes go a few weeks without talking to anyone.
Well, they are all great except for one. He has yet to finish his house and it's taken him a year and half. He probrably isn't my biggest fan since I've called the town and local school district on him several times for blatent code violations that effect everyone around him.

Across the street is the most nosy, obnoxious weirdo. She's "jealous" of the relationship we have with the neighbor next door to her, she imposes herself on us constantly, and no knows boundaries in terms of what she says or what she does. Recently I had to put her in her place about walking unnanounced (and uninvited) into our home. That didn't go over well.
The nerve!!!!!!

She also has a tendency to put out the garbage in an oversized tee and nothing else. Imagine the view from our side of the street and she's bending over (minus underwear). She's over 60, overweight, and not attractive. I've almost lost it a couple of times while being exposed to her dried out roast beef! Bob thinks it's funny, I want to puke! I think she's trying to mac on him or tempt him with her goodies, but how do you tactfully tell someone "Can you put some drawers on if you're going to stand there bent over for more than a second AND in broad daylight?!?" I mean for Gods sake, there's a school bus stop right on the corner!

Re: Your Neighbors
Our neighbors are pretty friendly and quiet for the most part. DH has lived on this block for most of his life so alot of them know him and his family pretty well. We are pretty good friends with our next door neighbors - they are a fairly young couple like us with a new baby.
The older neighbors are maybe a *little* nosey, but most of the time it's a good thing. They really look out for each other and us.
There are two weirdo families at the end of the block though. One we think is an alcoholic or something... her son came running into our backyard patio one day to hide from her. The other guy likes to buzz his loud bike up and down the block occassionally like a teenager but he's probably like 40!

Re: Your Neighbors
I live in Manhattan and most of my neighbors are great! However, there is one neighbor on my floor who ALWAYS leaves her shoes outside her front door, in the hall. When its raining or snowing thats one thing, but almost every day! Everything from flip flops to sneakers and it DRIVES ME MAD!!

Re: Your Neighbors
Upstairs that woman is constantly SCREAMING at her children (used to be her husband but after 17 years he upped and moved out last year)
The rest are quiet though....we all just get to listen to loony upstairs
