Let's Talk LIQUID intake ...

So do we all really drink the recommended amount of liquid each day??? I know it should be water, but they say other forms of liquid are OK too ...

I stuggle with this all day long!

I drink tons of water per day. I can't do without it or else I am so thirsty.

I am getting better with this. I would say I now drink 48 oz. of water a day. Then some milk. I am trying to give up the gatorade and vitamin water because of the sugar.

Re: Let's Talk LIQUID intake ...

very hard for me, especially b/c fluids aggravate my stomach.

But I have learned lemonade is my best friend, and so is ginger ale. It goes down easy...

also, I was told things like watermelon, grapes, ice pops, Chicken soup..all count as liquids for the day.

My entire pregnancy I have drank ALOT less than I should be......my amniotic fluid levels are normal per the Dr

but trying to do more because I don't want to go into early labor at this point, which not drinking enough fluids will do to you. That scares me.

Im a PRIME example of amniotic fluid having no baring on liquid intake. I have been dehydrated soo many countless times and I have TOO MUCH amniotic fluid.

So No worries.

i don't drink nearly as much as i should because my m/s has been so severe - fluids are MUCH harder than solids to take in.

at this point i probably drink about 16oz a day on a good day. hopefully that will improve soon Chat Icon

I drink about 64 oz consistently of water.

In addition I'll drink 16 - 24 ounces of juice, and 8 oz of Soy Milk.

Re: Let's Talk LIQUID intake ...

I can't do it. I went to the hospital for dehydration and I STILL can't do it. I just don't like to drink that much and I HATE water.
