People are already telling me that they think

I'm having a girl b/c my face changed...

now isn't the myth that you get ugly when your having a girl ? Are these people telling me that I'm looking ugly lately???

Um, I was literally told by a relative, "Oh, it's a girl, it's definitely a girl. You USED TO BE pretty."

Not ugly...I've always heard "steal your looks"

But that obviously isn't true from all of the pretty mommies on here having girls.

But people tell me the opposite, that I am all belly and that is how people could tell I am having a boy.

I think it's all an old wives tale.

My face didn't change at all with DD and nothing with this pg being another girl.

My mom swears she knows i was having girls by the way my azz and hips spread and where i gained.

Which is worse lookin ugly or having family look at your fat butt?

Well, that old wives' tale was true for me, in a way. My skin was horrible practically from the moment I got pregnant with zits everywhere...and I used to have clear skin!! Now, at 27+ weeks, I still get a zit here or there, but those ugly ones from months ago have left spots on my skin! So, she has definitely stolen any 'beauty' I had!! But I'm ok with it at this point, I'm used to it by now!!

I had twin girls and my face didn't change at all, so there REALLY went that theory!

I don't think they're telling you you look ugly! I've heard this same myth. My SIL had a girl and her features changed a bit. She didn't look bad at all but she did look a little bit different. Another one of my friends is also having a girl and the same thing happened. We're having a boy and my face looks exactly the same. Don't know if that means anything but that's just the experiences I've had.

i dont believe this myth. A girl i knew recently had a girl and her face didn't change at all. i think it depends on each individual. When i gain/lose weight even 5lbs it shows on my face so i'd think that by the end of my pregnancy when you've gained god knows how much of course i'll look different - you know??

as for ugly - tell them "bite me"

I stayed the same. Actually people told me I glowed. My mom said people told her she was hideous while pregnant with me. I think it's a wives tale.

um, im not trying to toot any horns here, BELIEVE me when I say this but I AM having a girl and I know I am.

Everyone is telling me, Wow, you look so good, its a boy! Your face didnt change, nothing.

My face never changed, my skin and hair never looked better and I had never felt so good when I was pregnant with my baby !!!

I don't think they're trying to tell you that you look ugly...its impossible for you to look ugly...but maybe your features did change a bit, but that doesn't mean you're having a girl. Some girls just don't change at all and others you can tell they're pregnant from the moment they conceive. Try not to listed to people bc it starts to get really annoying. I thank God have not been subject to these comments as I am not showing yet, but family and friends are saying that its a boy bc my face hasn't changed. Well I know that my hips grew like out to here so I wonder if that counts.

I feel like every prego I know who is having girl looks beautiful!!!
