Does anyone have..
info on the 05' malibus vs. the 05' Altima..
My Mil ( has her nose where it dosent belong once again) is big into chevys... she called down to her dealer guy... and is trying to find a better deal...
before I even here her out... does anyone drive or know anything about these 2 cars in comparison..???

I dont know much about the Malibu but at one time I did own a 03 Altima and it was seriously the best car I ever bought. I should have never sold it! With gas these days Im sorry I did!

BUT I gotta say off the top of my head, I do believe the Altima is a MUCH BETTER CAR than the Malibu... I would definitely tell your MIL to butt out  (I knwo, dreaming I am)

well the malibu brought our pymnt down like 5 bucks a month...BUT it ties us into another yr... so Im just staying with my 1st choice the ALTIMA...
however i did mention...the deal chevy was giving me... so maybe nissian will meet it....

the best part is... they have to get rid of the 05's before the 6th...so they could put out the 06's...and this is the last 05'
I mean we got the guy down to begin with and we got him to give us a little more than what the offered for our truck...but come on' meet the price and all your 05's are gone!!!

DH has an '04 Altima and loves it! No problems. It's gas mileage is worse than my Civic though.

So the guy called me back...he said the computers were down so he wouldnt be able to run my paperwork or crunch numbers until tomorrow...
I told him I was going away so he said he'd call at 915...
Grrr... Im so mad..I wanted to pick up my new car tonight!

He paid $48 last week for a full tank...That was when gas was $2.65. I'm not sure of miles to the gallon though.  I can ask him tonight.

Actually its the same money down... the malib is 4 bucks cheaper a month... but locks me in for a whole more year...
