ARGH!!!!
Okay, so I know that it's not that early and those of you who are at work or have young children are going to have no sympathy, but....
They are working on the apartment directly above me. About half an hour ago, I was rudly awaken by the sounds of hammering and some major power tools above my head! They might be sanding the floors or something, but it is SO loud! I can't even turn the TV on b/c I won't be able to hear it! 
And of course, this was just about my last morning to sleep in for the summer. Figures!

I HATE when I have a day off and someone disturbs my sleep!!!!! GRRRRRR. Makes me grumpy all day!
Make some coffee and try relaxing a little bit, I know it'll be hard!

I feel your pain Jackie!!
Every saturday morning they do the lawns right outside the front of our building, which is RIGHT outside our bedroom window.. and it wakes me up EVERY SINGLE TIME
I like sleeping in too much, that pi$$es me off

Thanks. I don't drink coffee, but a big mug of tea sounds like a wonderful idea!

Happened to DH and I also, when we were in a complex. If that wasnt bad enough, the dam garbage truck came through on weekdays @ 6AM! Really didnt have to set my alarm. Do they drop the dumpsters gently...NOPE..Its BANG! UUUGH..So glad Im out of there!

I feel your pain- DH and I moved from a first floor unit in our old building and were so happy to not have to hear bar brawls anymore. We ended up in a fourth floor unit in the back of the building, and you know the first week we were there the neighbors next door decided to rip off the roof starting at the crack of dawn.

jackie!! this morning was the first morning all week i was able to sleep "late", but those damn garbage men and their trucks came rolling around 8 am!!! why MUST they pick up garbage so early anyway??? it's not like it's going to spoil or anything!!

To make things better, I have my windows open, and the smells of paint and varnish from upstairs are drifting into my bedroom...ahh, gotta love those toxic fumes!
