Christening or First Birthday....or were the same people at both?
Not sure! I was going to say "Christening" because I'm not a fan of big first birthdays for some reason. Close friends and family...that's it. However we will be in Ireland the month after his birthday, so..1) we'll keep the one here small for $ reasons due to the fact we're going away a few weeks later and 2) I think maybe I'll suggest to his Grandda that we should have a party at his house in Ireland and invite the whole clan so everyone that hasn't met him yet can. He's got 1/2 acre yard so it would work. Wow, thanks for posting, now I have to go call them and ask if they like the idea!

Her birthday will be a little bigger, but only because it is a celebration for my DH and I that we made it through 1 amazing year of parenthood!!!

1st birthday will be a little bit bigger since its in the summer & we can have people outside. Both are held at our house.
