Yeah but if you get caught you will get in trouble no? I mean after all the child is not strapped into her seat which they should be since it's the law.
Do not tak the baby out of the carseat to give him the bottle. Forget about getting in trouble - its about staying safe.

Bottle propping is dangerous. Your baby could choke. I would stop the car to feed him.

I would sit in the back with the baby to feed her. Now that she holds her own bottle she can do it herself. As far as solid foods I only give them to her if someone is in the back of the car with her in case she chokes.

Fed their baby in a car while it was in motion?
We are going away this weekend to Lancaster which is a 3 -3 1/2 hour drive and I was telling one of my cousins about where we were going this weekend. She was like "oh so you will have to feed the baby in the car while your husband is driving". I was like "ummm no not while we are driving, we can pull over or stop at a reststop but not while the car is in motion".
She said she did it all the time with her kids because stopping and pulling over was a waste of time for her. Has anyone ever done it though it? I told her it sounded kind of weird.
What do you ladies think?
Personally, I would not until the baby is old enough to hold the bottle on his or her own. I think you can stop burping them once they can hold the bottle on their own (if it's sooner, then I guess it's fine to feed them while they're strapped in then). My son needs to get his wind up and there's no way in hell I"m taking him out of his car seat while the car is in motion in order to burp him. It's illegal to have the car in motion while he's not strapped in (at least in NY).

If you nurse - yes you would have to take him out.
Otherwise there is NO reason for you to take him out.
Nope!!! I BFd Sidney many a time while she was strapped in the carseat. It makes for quite a show. 
ETA: And I don't have big boobs...its amazing the position you can get your body into to quiet a screaming baby

I have fed her a bottle in a moving car or had someone else do it, never solids.
