Yeah all the decongestant types are no-nos but talk to your doc. Mine had said OK to sudafed at one point my first pregnancy and same with tylenol cold (but one specific one).
Hope you feel better!

Re: zyrtec blows...help!
have you been using a nasal spray too? That's a big help for me when I'm having sinus or allergy problems. Some of the prescription ones are ok to use rhinocort (sp?) is ok to take per my doc so I've been using it as needed, but sometimes I just use a saline spray and that helps too. Feel better!!!

If you don't have to drive or go anywhere - take Benadryl. My peri OK'd that to help me breathe (and finally sleep) when I had a horrible cold that lasted 2 weeks.

Re: zyrtec blows...help!
Just take a regular dose of benadryl. If you have the pills, just take one (that's what we have at home). I forgot about benadryl. At least it could help you feel a little sleepier so you can get some rest tonight despite the stuffiness.

Re: zyrtec blows...help!
when I told the dr I had allergies he said Claritin in the Am, then take plain benedryl at night......
Tried it for a couple days and it didn't do much so I caved and got plain sudafed - and it really helped clear me out........
My drs lists of OK meds has Sudafed - ok only in 2nd and 3rd trimester.
