Zantac/Pepcid Dosage Question
My OB said Zantac 150 or Pepcid AC are ok, since its safer than Prilosec I was taking daily before pregnancy.
If you take one of these meds 2x a day, do you take the 2 pills at once or do you split them up?
I've been taking 1 in the AM around 10am with breakfast and 1 in the PM around 8pm with dinner.
I'm wondering if i'd be better off taking 2 at the same time? The AM dose seems to wear off by 6pm and I'm in agony until the PM dose kicks in around 11pm.
Any suggestions?

I take Zantac 150 2x per day. I split it up like you do - one in the morning and one in the evening. I don't think you're supposed to take both at the same time. If I need to, I chew on some Tums in between.

That's what I thought too.
I don't miss drinking wine. I don't mind not eating cold cuts or hot dogs. I can live with only taking tylenol.
I just miss my prilosec!
